On the charts!!

We went in for Blair's 4 month check up this morning...she weighs 12.4 pounds and is 22 3/4" long. Which means...drumroll please...she's in the 24th percentile for her head circumference (I forget that measurement), 20th percentile for her weight and 5th percentile for her height!! Not bad for a baby who should only actually be 2 months old, huh!?! At our previous doctor visit, she wasn't on the charts yet for her height and was in the 5th percentile for both head circumference and weight. Her doctor (and parents) was extremely pleased with her progress. We all celebrated merrily...then the nurse came in with the needles for her shots.

Two in each leg - yuck! She held her daddy's finger for the traumatic event and SCREAMED bloody murder. Right before the nurse gave her the first shot, Blair flashed her a great big smile...tell me she isn't going to be a handful...already trying to "sweet talk" her way out of things she doesn't like. :) The nurse got so tickled she did have to wait a second before sticking Blair, but then she put on her evil hat and tortured our poor girl.

Kind of a bad start to her first Valentines Day. I don't have a picture (the one above was taken yesterday), but she has the cutest outfit on today - it's pink with hearts all over it, and written in cursive across her butt is the word "love." A gift from her aunt Paulette. I just want to look at her butt all day - it's so precious!
