I'll be honest. I was beginning to worry about Blair's speaking capabilities, or lack there of. Yes, I'll admit that I worry
There were lots of "Ah" and "Ugh" words flying around. Some were high pitched, some were almost growled. But there were no consonants connected to them. And according to Nurse Betty, we should be hearing not only consonants by now, but an actual discernable word here and there too. Maybe I use the word "word" a little loosely here, but it seems that we should have achieved a "Mama" or "Dada" by this point.
The Boog must have picked up on my concern, so she decided to prove once again that I may very well be up for the next "overprotective and over worried mom of the year award." She woke up this morning (yes, we now have two teefers, so we're back to good nights) and employed a plethora of consonants.
There was a "Ba."
There was a "Dadadadada" which put the biggest smile I've ever seen on my hot hubby.
And maybe it was my imagination, but I do believe there was even a "Ma" thrown in the mix.
I'm now at the other end of the worrying spectrum. I now believe that Blair may have the most beautiful, intellectual voice I've ever heard.
