Today's the day. I'm celebrating the third anniversary of my 29th birthday. OK, I'm really bad at math, and may have miscalculated the anniversary, so I'll tell you straight up that I'm 31 today. Just don't tell anyone.
As I admit my age to you, I can't help but ask myself that age-old question: Do you feel any older? My answer surprises me. I've never felt younger. Blair does that to me I guess. While the weight of knowing that I am responsible for another human being's life does weigh heavy on me, so does the importance of blowing raspberries on her tummy, rolling around on the floor with her, having "conversations" with her that sound like this:
Boog: Haaa?
Mommy: Haaa!
Boog: Roar! (yep, she roars now too)
Mommy: Roar!
Boog: Aaaagggggghhhhh!
Mommy: Aaaaaagggggghhhhh!
I never in a million years (or 31, whatever) imagined how much fun this whole mommy thing would be.
