Mommy's new philosophy

I have a funny story for you, or maybe you might be ashamed of me...depending on your point of view I guess. Either way, try to see the humor in it and don't judge me.

I went for a quick trip to the store recently and only had three things on my list: formula, baby food and wine. I stocked up on the baby food and formula first, then made my way to the wine aisle. My wine rack at home was stark naked and needed replenishing...you know, so it would look pretty. So I put six bottles of wine in my buggy along with my baby things (and before you get all preachy on me, those six bottles will last me for...gosh, at least a week).

It wasn't until I reached the check-out counter that I realized how funny the contents of my buggy were. Actually, it wasn't until the cashier looked at my items, then looked at me with a puzzled look on her face.

I just shrugged and said "You can't have one with out the other, right?"

I don't think she saw the humor in my little funny.
