Let this serve as fair warning for all you right-handers...we southpaws are taking over the WORLD!
I was just reading a newsletter I subscribe to which is full of all sorts of useless information, and I learned that I missed International Left-Handers Day. It was August 13. Funny - I don't recall seeing anything about the holiday on CNN or Fox News. How could they have missed it?
The same article references a store called The Left Hand (www.thelefthand.com). It has all sorts of stuff designed especially for us! All this time, we've just had to adapt to the right-handers' world...who knew that we could customize things and create a world all our own?!?!
As an aside, Brian is horribly afraid that Blair is going to be a righty. I'm starting to see his point, as her right hand does seem to be her first choice for picking things up. Let's all say a prayer that we're wrong...two left-handed parents raising a right-handed child? DFCS might take her away from us if they ever got word of such an atrocity. Please don't tell anyone.

Lol! My husband is also a lefty and gets rather perturbed when our son reaches for things with his right. I don't think kids 'pick' a hand until they're around two, do they?
