Friends ... real and imaginary

Blair has an imaginary friend, and it is sooooo cute!

Her friend is Braveheart Lion, who is a Carebear Cousin. So he actually isn't imaginary, she just took him from the cartoons and gave him a new home. Because she is Braveheart's mommy, as she'll tell you in a heartbeat. So, he isn't really imaginary, and he isn't really a friend, but those are just technicalities, right?!

Sometimes he sits with us at dinner, sometimes he goes with her to school. And sometimes he gets into trouble and has to go to timeout. He has very specific likes and dislikes ... he doesn't like bananas or the news, and he doesn't like covers at bedtime.

Blair informed me this morning that she wanted the REAL Braveheart Lion to come to her birthday party this year. Yep, she's already planning it. Oh, and she wants the real Elmo to come too. Oh, boy ... this is going to be one heck of a party!
