Nurse Betty Update

OK...so I had pretty much given up on hearing back from the developmental nurse who thinks my husband is hotter than a firecracker on the fourth of July since we were supposed to have our follow up with her and the physical therapist today and I haven't heard from her since the initial visit. Well, she called me at work today. She mentioned that she didn't realize until an hour ago that she was supposed to come back to see the Boog today. So, we rescheduled for June 16 (the PT is leaving tomorrow AM for vacation in Puerto Rico...I don't like the PT very much right now).

We chatted a while, and during the conversation she casually drops in that my hot hubby had just told her that the Boog is now rolling over really well. You know in movies when the main character hears another character say something weird, and they sort of pause and make a "rewinding" noise and replay the weird thing the main character heard? That's what happened. Except the second time, I heard "God your husband is hot - I called him before I called you to see if he might want to hook up while you're at work and have wild monkey sex. Oh, and so your daughter is progressing nicely?"

Let me stop here and say how grateful I am to this very nice nurse and I respect her tremendously and think she's really great at her job. She's extremely nice, not a dog, but she's also probably in her mid - to - late 50s. Not that much older than us (very early 30s), but old enough so that I can totally see the humor in her fondness for my hot hubby.

OK - that's all I have for now. I have to go polish off my tiara from when I won Miss GA Sweet Onion 1998, pick out my best old modeling pictures to hang on the walls and cue up the 'ol movie to the part where I make out with Dennis Quaid...temporarily stealing him away from Julia Roberts. I'll keep y'all posted.

Girl you are too much! Let me know if you need another woman for "back-up". I can drop some hints and put her in her place if needed!
